Bahrain GP 2023
I love the start to a new season. No matter what happens in the race there is always something in the air that just makes it exciting to watch. Even before the season starts the fanfare begins. I enjoyed the “My First Day” boards, definitely contemplating making all the driver’s favorite foods, maybe a good project for the next winter break? Though some of them just say “Italian” or “Smorgasbord”, so I guess I might have to get creative!
The race itself was exciting in the mid-field, and we actually called the podium! We just had to assume something catastrophic would happen to at least one Ferrari, and we couldn’t help but hope for an Alonso podium! And he did it!
We made Arugula Mint Salad with Labneh, Freekeh with Radish Top Pesto, and some fresh lavash with Hummus and Labneh topped with Za’tar.
