Hungary GP 2021: Cucumber Dill Dip, Mushroom Paprikash, and Apple-Nut Cake
What a race! Ocon’s first win!!! A crazy wet weather start created mayhem and made for a crazy exciting race. Good guy Alonso and up-and-coming Mick both had amazing battles with the title contenders as they tried to make their way back up the field having fallen back after one catastrophe after another. With strategy, changing conditions, and some proper on-track racing this might have been the best race of the season. After this, we get a three-week break and return for Spa at the end of August.
I had fun cooking for Hungary too, I found a fun cookbook at the library and got inspired to try out a few new recipes. The cucumber dill dip and mushroom paprikash pasta were both yummy, but it was the cake that I will be making again and again! A great snacking cake and good warm, room-temperature, or even chilled. You probably have a few apples lying around that are just begging to be sliced up and thrown into this cake!
